A popular restaurant located in Wilmslow was undergoing renovations to update its interior. The owners wanted to create a classic and elegant look for the restaurant and decided to install a solid herringbone wood floor.

Following a consultation with commercial wood flooring specialists JackEvie, the client opted for a traditional solid herringbone block from The Grange Collection, a vintage looking parquet floor which features gently tumbled edges and a worn surface texture.

Once the entire floor had been laid the tumbled oak blocks were finished with a UV-hardened oil that provided a protective layer and enhanced the natural beauty of the oak.

Overall, the installation of the solid herringbone wood flooring in the restaurant was a huge success and greatly improved the aesthetics of the establishment.
